Desserts & Sweet Treats in Halifax & Dartmouth
Looking for something sweet in Halifax or Dartmouth and not sure what? We make three things well: celebration cakes, cupcakes and dry loaf cakes — all 100% eggless, all made to order, and we answer messages until 11 PM, seven days a week.

What We Actually Make
Our dessert list is deliberately short. Celebration cakes in 500g and 1kg, cupcakes by the box, and dry loaf cakes for the tea table. Flavours run from Rasmalai, Gulab Jamun and Lotus Biscoff through to chocolate, red velvet, butterscotch, mango and pistachio. Everything is baked fresh for your order rather than sitting in a display case, which is why the answer to "what do you have right now" is always "what would you like".
Two things worth being straight about, because both come up. If you are searching for a pastry, we are not a French patisserie — no croissants, no danishes, no laminated dough. What we do have is what a pastry usually means in South Asian usage: individual slices and small cakes. And if you are looking for mithai, we are not an Indian sweet shop either; we bake mithai flavours into cakes, but we do not sell boxed barfi or laddoo. The grocers around HRM are the right place for that.
Because the kitchen is 100% eggless, anything on the list suits vegetarians and anyone avoiding eggs, with no cross-contact to worry about. It does contain dairy, so it is not vegan. Same-day is often possible — message us early in the day and we will tell you what the kitchen can realistically do that evening, and late-night delivery around 11:30 PM is available if it is meant to be a surprise.
Open Late, Seven Days
We answer messages 9 AM to 11 PM every day, so an evening craving is not a problem.
Made For Your Order
Nothing sits in a case. Every cake, cupcake box and loaf is baked for the order it belongs to.
100% Eggless Kitchen
No eggs in any recipe, so everything suits vegetarians and egg allergies. Contains dairy, so not vegan.

Desserts & Sweet Treats in Halifax — FAQs
Where can I get dessert in Halifax or Dartmouth today?
We bake in Dartmouth and take orders on WhatsApp from 9 AM to 11 PM, seven days a week. Same-day is often possible depending on the kitchen schedule — message early in the day and we will tell you which cakes, cupcakes or loaf cakes we can do for that evening, with pickup in Dartmouth or delivery across Halifax and nearby areas.
Are you open now?
We answer messages 9 AM to 11 PM every day of the week, which is later than most bakeries in HRM. We are a home bakery rather than a storefront, so there is no counter to walk into — everything runs through WhatsApp at 902-240-4455, and pickup times are arranged with you.
What is the best sweet to buy as a gift?
For a gift that has to travel or keep, a dry loaf cake or a box of cupcakes works better than an iced cake — they need no fridge and no plates. For something that is the centrepiece of a moment, a 500g celebration cake with lettering does more. If you want it presented, we also build gift hampers with the cake on a decorated tray.
What should I bring to a birthday?
A cake is still the thing people remember, and size is the only real decision: 500g suits two or three people, 1kg suits ten to twelve. Every celebration cake comes with two candles, a wooden cake knife and a Happy Birthday topper at no extra cost, so it arrives ready to light and cut rather than needing a kitchen raid.
Do you sell pastries?
Not in the French sense — we do not make croissants, danishes or anything laminated. We do make what pastry usually means in South Asian usage: cake by the slice and small individual cakes, plus cupcakes and dry loaf cakes. If you are after eggless pastry specifically, that is exactly what our kitchen does.
Do you sell Indian sweets or mithai?
No. We are a bakery, not a sweet shop, so there is no boxed barfi, laddoo or jalebi. What we do is bake mithai flavours into cakes — rasmalai, gulab jamun, cardamom and pistachio. For traditional mithai, the Indian grocers around HRM are the right place.
Is everything really eggless?
Yes — no eggs are used anywhere in our kitchen, in any recipe, so there is no cross-contact at all. That suits egg allergies, vegetarian households and anyone avoiding eggs for religious reasons. The cakes do contain dairy such as butter, cream and milk, so they are not vegan.
Can I get something sweet delivered late at night?
Yes, depending on availability. We run a late delivery slot arriving around 11:30 to 11:45 PM across Dartmouth, Halifax, Bedford and nearby communities — usually booked as a surprise. Tell us the address and who is letting us in when you order.
